Lol. It's also easy to say when it's not you in that situation.. when removing said tune cures most of not all the issues, yeah... you blame the tune. It's simple math.

Never had a single issue with BootMod3... ever.

Oh and support was fantastic for the small hiccups. Go try to get support from Terry or anyone else on his team: you'll be lucky if you get a 2 word rely from them at all..

We need an active mid pipe and some downpipes immediately.... I'm literally sitting checking and waiting daily for that. I'm surprised there's nothing out there right now

Just spoke with Burger Tuning, no JB Stage 1 planned for the S58 right now. I'm assuming they will wait until the M3/4 is out before developing that unit.

Although I believe you can partially hookup the JB4 and have the same result, but for double the cost if you're not planning on using the other capabilities.

I know some have had bad experiences with boxes but I really like their Stage 1's for the price. A little extra power but not enough to go outside of or defeat the factory parameters.

m3/m4 production was delayed for 1 year, so first cars will be at 2021 year

I think is cool, we have 2 years to enjoy this engine in x3m and not share with others cars! I hope, bmw will make a Z4M with S58

It's official- if nobody announces downpipes or mid pipe or something- I'm removing my whole exhaust and driving It like that LOL. I cant believe they made this thing so damn quiet. It's driving me mad

Also more good news! We just scanned the RKP X3M for the patent filings and the lip will be at the carbon shop for tooling on Monday. This lip took 3 months of work and started out by 3D printing. 3D printed parts helps move the project along faster but we like to use a body tech for final fitments and modifications. Lip was designed to not block and oil or brake cooling. Comes with a custom bracket, 3M tape pre installed and all hardware. Will be handmade in MI, USA

So, for me personally, I ended up going with a supersprint downpipe with high flow stainless cat. I didn't feel like deleting the cat altogether and having to reprogram the car to delete the error that would arise without it. I'll probably have it remapped once I'm back in the states early next year to take full advantage of the liberated exhaust. Supersprint was needing to measure a US spec X3MC here in Italy, and mine happens to be a rarity around these parts, so they made me an offer on the stainless cat that I couldn't refuse. It should make it slightly louder, and I'll post vids here once installed in about a week.
