At least the interior color is palatable on this one compared to the BMW spec'd X4Ms.

Yeah it was locked and 110 so didn't waste too much time hanging around. The interior was the black with a yellow center. Looked sharp.

Global Imports in Atlanta has one same color with MSRP in the $82s as well. The tan interior. My sales guy took me on a drive and let me drive it while I was buying my wife's X3. Very fun.

Pricing at $82k sounds like X3M Comp + Executive Package + Destination.

No Driver's Assistance Package.

That's exactly how the one in Atlanta is specced.

Is the Driver's Assistance Package even worth having?

Cost aside, how well do those features work?

I suspect these are HEA cars. Mine is similar on a order with dark graphite but I have the driver assistance package. It works well on the new 5 especially the lane assistance does a great job of keeping the vehicle in its lane on the highway. I think first customer cars will be here by next week.

That’d be my X3M now. Traded in my ‘17 BSM F80 Comp for this one yesterday.

I’m easy on the break in, but it feels like it will have a lot of poke when I open it up at ~1,200 miles. The ride is firm but not harsh, it steers flat, the brakes are very good, and the transmission is smoother than the DCT around town, but still almost instantaneous shifts with the paddles.

Should be a fun one.

Cheers!

Congrats, did they take much off sticker? Fair trade value?
Lease or buy?

They were very good to deal with. The M3 was a lease return pulled ahead a few months. X3M was a new lease with a little off MSRP (~$2,800 + $1,500 BMW loyalty). I knew going in I wouldn’t get the 7-10% off MSRP I’d usually target. It’s a brand new M-model and one of the first around. I was happy the starting point wasn’t over MSRP.

Residual was 59% and money factor of .00205 both set/locked by BMW FS.

How many miles/yr? I thought the MF actually dropped for most other models. Hopefully it'll come down a bit...

Congrats! What's your monthly payment if you don't mind? Did you have any negative equity from the previous car?

10k/year - I don’t drive all that much.

I would have liked a lower MF too, but that’s what BMW FS has out for the model/market right now. My impatience may cost me a few extra bucks vs waiting 6-12 months, but oh well.... I’ve never been a huge fan of delayed gratification. I get bored with new toys pretty quickly, so...

My payment is just under $800/mo, but I put some cash out to manipulate that number. If you have a buy price, the Residual & MF are all you need to get to your payment. Pay more, less, or nothing down at the start of the lease and you’ll end up with something much different for your payment.

Good luck!

Tough question, I debated a bunch of options.... The RS5 Sportback, Stelvio Q, GLC63, X5 50i, waiting for the new M3, etc. I landed on the X3M, b/c it’s here now, I really like the look, the size, the optioned price, everything really. I could make a good argument for any of these but this was my Goldilocks choice.

That's a formidable list!
I think you made the right choice.

Prepaid maintenance? Don't these come with 3 years maintenance included except for brake coverage?

Correct, the 3yr 36k covers most standard things, but sometimes M Brakes don’t make it 36k miles and they are stupid expensive to replace b/c you have to do pads & rotors, so I took the ‘insurance’. It’s not much, like 1k (I think).
