love the shine, ease of cleaning, and hydrophobic effect of it. love watching the water just bead off of it when it rains. granted, it doesn't protect her from little nicks or chips but i'm ok with that

cheapest and one of my favorite mods. it rained today after picking up my ride and it worked like a charm. I bought it from eBay:

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F272575124207

A&L Autobody did a great job trimming and installing them.

So, questions:
1) You put two different tires on her?
2) Dropped all this cash and chose no-seasons over proper summer/winters?

I agree.

#1. I have seen this same combo at two dealers already. Seems like all the dealers were given a black on black X3 M comp for their HEA.

#2. Accessories don't make a " build " for me ..

Big thanks to A&L Autobody for all the great work they do on my rides. Can't thank them enough!!!

MODS:

-Tints: 35% Front Windows (including Front Windshield)
-Valentine One Radar: Hardwire
-Brake Calipers: Brembo Yellow
-AutoTechnic: Carbon Fiber Shift Paddle Set
-Front and Rear Reflectors (Black Sapphire)
-Front and Rear Rock Guards
-Future Classics Spacers: Front-15mm, Rear-15mm
-Pirelli: Scorpion Zero All Season Plus 265/40R21 and Scorpion Zero All Season 285/40R21
Car looks great, but I think you’ve gone a bit too large on the spacers, your setup is the same as putting 25mm on the rear and 27mm on the front of an M40i with the 21” wheels!

I'm glad someone else said it. Car is great and cheers to the owner, but it's funny this makes front page news. This would get roasted by everyone here in a year for thinking tint is a "mod".

Ignore the negativity, car looks sexy and that's all that matters.

As you've upped the tyre sizes and kept the aspect ratio the same as stock, the diameter has increased, correct? Anyone know how much this'll affect the speedometer reading?

I am completely unfamiliar with wheel spacers, bit hear a lot about them in the BMW circles. One of the things I wished for on my X3MC was thicker meat at the corners. Was nowhere near a deal breaker! Also would've been cool perhaps with some wider flanks. Not much just enough to not be the exact same as my wife's M40.
Anyway, is the performance effected at all when spacers are used? Ride quality? Other...?
