It'd be a pain to have to shift the thing into Sport all the time.
For the G05 X5 we had to wait for bimmercode to be updated for the option to disable ASS entirely. Pretty sure bimmercode will need to be updated again to support the G01. We had to wait a few months but may well be a quicker release for the G01. Note there won't be a ASS memory function, it's either all or nothing with mild hybrids. To turn it back on you need to code it.
Thanks.

Are you saying that with the 48V system on your B58 once coded off, ASS is off even in EcoPro?

That would be very interesting.
Correct, once coded off, it's disabled for everything.

If I read the X3 Order form - they are making it very difficult to order an X3 30i and get Carbon Black or Brooklyn Grey: You would have to order "ZMP"(M Sports Package) which is a $4100 item!! (or go to an M40i) Only leaves 4 metallic paints to chose from. That surprises me. Hopefully the X4 will be slightly different (but doubt it). Anyone read it differently?

I agree with your read, but that's also true of the 2021.

You're welcome!

The M order guides aren't available yet for either the X3 or the X4. Definitely curious to get a look at those as well. I would love to pull the trigger on an X3M but the fuel consumption always pulls me back to reality. Also they'll likely be available later than the other models and I need a car for the October timeframe.

UCMikeyG99:I know all X4's (including X4M) are made in North Carolina - isn't that the case for X3's/X3M? Turn around time is very quick(unlike German made) - 4 weeks at most from order placement to delivery. At least this was the case in 2019 with my daughters X4 30i and my M40i. The engine in the X3M/X4M's is the same as the one going into the new M3/M4!

This is all true but there are component shortages. The massive demand for computers and tablets during the pandemic to support work and school from home, in combination with plant shutdowns and capacity reductions due to the pandemic has caused a microchip shortage. The car industry is now beginning to be greatly impacted as many of the infotainment and computer management systems use many of these commodity chips that are in short supply. Production of the new X3 and X4s will begin mid August so hopefully some of the supply chain issues will ease by then but some analysts are forecasting constraints well into 2022.
I hope getting my X3 M40i order in early will help me get it quickly though.

Images can be found earlier in this thread, unless you meant the version without prices.

Got it about the chips - point well taken - was not considering the impact I've noticed on other BMW models (e.g. M3/M4) they initially had H-K audio as standard...but may be pulling back as a separate option - so understand your concern about getting order in. You will love the M40i - I have for 2.5 years so far. Fantastic handling and engine - it flies.

Does anyone know whether you can order ventilated seats in the US for an X3 that are different than the pre LCI versions?

The 12 Inch touch screen is going to be a nice addition, matches the Q5 screen size and is a better shape imho. the 10 inch screen on my 2021 is nice but can feel a bit cramped if you try to go split screen.

I have a copy of the 2021 pricing guide that lists a "front ventilated seats" package (must be pair with one of two leathers), but I haven't seen that option in the configurator for as long as I've been looking at the M40i (which is only a couple of months). I'd guess the answer is no to ordering, but maybe you can find one configured with them if you look broadly.

Just a minor correction here since I live in North Carolina. They are built in Spartanburgh, South Carolina.

Appreciate these shots, always nice to see pics of them in the wild rather than corporate photos and they look great!
That's a lovely shade of red as well.

I don't get BMW anymore, styling they go crazy, but colors are boring as hell. Black, different black, dark grey, lighter grey, white and a dark blue in between. Zzzzzzz.

Seriously. Check out the UK color palette. This has a partial overlay of Frozen Marina Bay Blue, which is so very pretty.
