go in the boot on the RHS - Fuse 203

https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...&postcount=102

you need to cold start in Sport + and pull the fuse then.

there are no lights / faults. I actually put a blown fuse in just in case it ends up in the dealers and i forget...

Not sure if this helps .. but both Joe Achilles and Shmee have had their G80's stock exhaust systems replaced with the Remus System - CAT back with OPF delete .. super loud results.

Perhaps Remus do a similar system for the UK F97 / F98s

Shmee had his done @ Motech and Joe @ Milltek

Invalidates your warranty though and would fail any MOT etc.

Fair point Moff, I suppose when money is no object they don't really care of such things as warranty etc.

If this was to be done, and reviewing the videos , which appears to involve no pipe cutting , then I would keep the stock system and revert back if the need arose.. That said, I am quite happy with the stock system and sound it produces when in Sport / Sport + D2 / S2 / D3 /S3

Slight downside I have come to accept , if you open the drivers window , even a few cms , there is quite a lot of turbulence and wind noise that hits you in the face.. Solution .... open the pan roof, either on tilt or slid open and keep the windows shut.

I'll see come Monday PM following the RIS if any changes are perceptible with regards to the sound immitted, especially with WOT and redline shifting available post RIS.

Can you do this through BimmerCode? I haven't come across the option on there

I dont think it locks it open the same way. I think the car still has some control with bimmercode - or atleast that is what i read on here somewhere.

Have look for PCW Exhaust Mods. Tends to be a 3 month waiting list but he can definitely help. But the OPF is the issue - it massively restricts at the mid section so any back box mods are incremental small gains.

I have it booked in with pcw exhaust mods for August

He will be doing secondary decats, resonator mod and backbox mod
