Wanted to share some photos of the new Evolution Racewerks S58 Downpipes just released, available in brushed, polished or Thermal Coated. HiFlow catted versions also available. just installed a set of these on a X4M Competition and looking to get some actual numbers as soon as we get back on the dyno.

These are right on par on what we've seen for S55 downpipes in the past, which didn't include the flex joints. Quality isn't cheap. You can probably get away with using cheaper cats, but will need to replace them every couple of years costing you much more in the long run.
ER is US-based, been in the business for a long time and brings a ton of race experience to their product line.

Cost is high but I wouldn't call it horrible, there are 2 downpipes that you're purchasing, after all; for a good down downpipe in a 340i, you would pay about $800 w/ cats, and thats for just one, not two. Of course there is also the "M-Tax" added in there. Either way, it will be nice to see what gains can be had with good downpipes attached to the S58.

I have done 2 install.
One was the first production version after Evolution Racewerks used my X3MC for prototyping. Then another one on my own, replacing the catless prototype to HFC version. Total it took me about 3 hours.

Just over a couple of hours. Removing the O2s beforehand makes the pipes a bit easier to finesse out and install.

I agree 100%. When I had the F8X dyno sheet came before the price even for downpipes when they all first launched.
