Exclamation HELP! Jumped the battery now the speedo, turn sig, radio, milage/clock dont work!

HELP! Jumped the battery now the computer, turn sig, radio, milage/clock dont work!

Oddly enough I have been battling setting up homelink in my car, left the key in position 2 (like an idiot) and when I went to turn the car on and move it (having given up on the homelink... for another day) the car wouldn't turn over.

I jumped the car and let it idle in the drive way for a few minutes and noticed the screen didnt pop up but didnt think much of it - I tried to press the button to 'manually' bring the screen up and realized the whole unit didnt seem to be working.

Turned the car off let sit and then back on with hopes of a one time weird thing, but same happened -

Things that do not work:
-- Screen does not pop up
-- Speedometer
-- Tach
-- Milage read out below speedo does not display
-- Clock below speedo does not display
-- Little window displaying weather or not in Drive N or R does not display
-- Turn Signal NOISES (lights on the out side of the car work - doesn't tick/tick)
-- All Warning Lights WITH THE EXCEPTION OF the yellow ABS Light (see picture)
-- Transfer Case seems to be extra clunky when making slow sharp turns (replaced actuator motor about 4 months ago)
-- All buttons below AC unit with the exception of the back up sensor light (see picture)

Things that DO work:
-- AC and buttons
-- Car drives (seems to be a bit clunky however)
-- Car can be put into gear
-- Headlights/dome lights etc/exterior lights/fog lights/
-- Keyless entry & Locks
-- Stereo/AUX/Radio & Preset buttons
-- Steering wheel buttons

**Added coolant & washer fluid this morning but cant imagine this had anything to do with it**

Has this happened to anyone and does anyone know how to fix it? I dont even know where to begin with this one!

****UPDATE**** - After posting this I disconnected the battery let sit for 20 minutes - went back and reconnected the battery now everything seems to work fine...

Any thoughts on what the hell is going on??
