I really don't know . They don't do the test .
For me 0 - 100 or 0-60 mph is not important, I'm looking for more Nm

Impressive.

This engine really is asleep until it hits 3,000rpm. I think they will need to fix that for the M3/M4 crowd...

When I first got my GT350, I heard endless comments on "there is nobody home under 3K RPM". After owning one for a year, I thought that comment was blown out of proportion. As it still had plenty of grunt under 3K RPM.

I wish I can say the same about the X3M. With everything in Sport Plus, you are literally driving a Corolla. That is under 3K RPM, until boost kicks in. If I step on it from a dead stop I can literally count "3 Mississippi" until boost kicks in.

I hope they fix this with the G80.

This only happens to me if I push through from a dead stop and the transmission is in D3 mode. For whatever reason, there is much less lag with D2. Try it out. Regardless, low end torque can definitely be improved with some aftermarket exhausts. Meisterschaft exhausts are famous for improving the low end torque. I think that's the only mod I'm going to try on this car.

So, you're saying in D2 you feel less lag? Hmm, will definitely try that out.

I was hoping a catback exhaust would help. But JLT said he felt no difference with his new exhaust. Downpipes will help for sure, just don't think I am ready to go back to bolt on mods. For warranty purposes...

I also felt the car is underwhelming under 3K rpm, and for those saying that they hope they fix it on the new M3, there is no reason they can't fix it on this, and its very likely that changes will be made to the DME software for this car as time goes on.

So, I exchanged several texts with the tuner that made this map. It's been performed on a Euro spec F98 with the OPF removed. The HP incresase from 546 stock to 600 with remap is impressive. In two weeks, I'll take my American F97 (born without OPF) to the same tuner with a SuperSprint metallic cat downpipe and we'll see what they can safely extract from this engine. I'm very curious at this point.

But, not sure if you guys will like it, since some of you think that I am here to just advertise shitty product, lol.

Eh, for $250, if it fits, who cares. I have a friend who has one on his X3 M40i and it looks excellent and the fitment was 10/10. eBay parts need to be evaluated on a part by part basis. My eBay diffuser on my first F80 fit nicer than my friends $800 name-brand one.

Now this is the kind of news I like to hear. Looking forward to clips and getting those ordered ASAP. ER is quality. Any word on how difficult downpipes will be on this car? Are they a PITA to get out?

Also, and I don't have a problem, so this is me being totally unbiased, it just seems like you push for the RaceChip a bit too often considering you also sell it. I think it just comes across as non-Genuine when a vendor is frequently posting how much they love something they sell.

I was out of town when ER working on the downpipe, but I was told that it is a bit hard since it is a new platform.
I will visit them tomorrow to see the progress.

I know you guys think that I pushed RaceChip hard just because I am selling it. You need to read again and pay attention on the timeline.
I was spreading the good news in the industry since I am in it and I have insider news.
Besides, it was the first tune in the market for this new S58 engine.
And I was answering questions.
RaceChip has been a favorite in most chassis that I have had the car too.

I can be passive and keep all the good news for myself. I don't mind doing that.
I love modding and personalized my car, and have been in this business close to 30 years.
Believe me, this industry is not the best to make money to feed your family.
I was asked to re-open my business when I got my F15 X5 back in 2014 and start posting on what mods I have done to it.
Again, I don't need to share what I have done or what prototype that I have. Some of the stuff that got made by someone that I work closely, that's because I pushed them to make it for me.

But I like to help people. As I always say at every new platform that I always got questioned, I am here to help you guys. The profit I made will keep me around longer to help you guys.
If you guys think that I am here to make it in life, then I don't even need to bother replying or posting on Sunday morning or late at night before sleep. I could've just spend my spare time doing something else.

LOL don't sweat the petty people it's only the Internet.

Evolution racewerks is the brand I used for all of my m3 parts.

Do they have an ETA ??

Amen to that. Some of these "brand name" companies suck worse than replicas
