Drilled and or Slotted rotors for 2008 X3 M

Have read a few postings on this subject but unclear whether anyone has a recommendation based on experience. Am looking for after market rotors and pads for my 2008 X3 M. Would prefer drilled and or slotted, but clearly only an aesthetic issue. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If it's purely for aesthetic reasons and within your budget, I would say just go for drilled, since it's main use is for better heat dissipation. The only real reason to go for slotted, is if you need extra bite in your brake pads.

Honestly stick with stock pads, if you watch engineering explained's video online you can see a clear example of how you get what you pay for with brake pads and OEM are generally the best value. See if there is a BMW Value Line kit for your car, its the pads and sensor for something like $100-120. The rotors are up to you, obviously for cosmetic reasons you said you want drilled and slotted so just go with what you think is best. Also, you may have an M Sport car but it is not an X3 M (an actual model now with the G01)

You will find this video interesting

Also OEM is better than most aftermarket except Top Tier.
