Just heard back from the dealer, apparently this IS the correct price. Someone bought it and then immediately traded it back in a week later.

Unfortunately someone from Ohio has already reserved it so they'll give me a call if that falls through...

That doesn't account for the low price though, does it? $40k should be like 2-3 years of depreciation. I just looked around on Edmunds and the cheapest X3 M40i is $44k and it's a 2018.

Yeah, no idea what their thought process is. I even mentioned to him that I was calling because it 5k less than cars that were older.

He just told me they bought it, brought it back, and bought an X5 instead.

Based on my ordered MY 2020, sounds like he had to eat above 4K, part of which dealer gave back when he took out pricier X5.

Be super cautious when dealing with this Henderson dealership. I bought an exotic from it and it was a terrible experience.
