Vibration in reverse
Anyone else get a strong vibration in reverse a decent amount of the time? It seems like the RPMs are sitting in a weird place that causes me to get a vibration and that is both heard and easily felt throughout the car. Doesn't really bother me, but I just wanted to make sure its normal.

Watched the rpms and there was no unusual flutter Then I cursed as my seatbelt tensioner choked me as I drove away |

I was hoping an overwhelming amount of you would also have this issue. Here we go again with a new episode of "things that will keep my car in for service that the dealership will never fix".

I think it's just getting a feel for where you are, one day you might be very glad it did. (hopefully not of course)

that actually makes alot of sense...i guess i shouldn't fight back with it next time. i think the most annoying part abt it... is having to hear my wife go "thats soo annoying... why does it do that?!?!?!?!?" every.....single...... time....

Surely they thought about this at BWM? And what was wrong with the old method that worked on a tension spring? Is anyone safer because of this feature? |

The system is setting itself up so it can best protect you in the event of a crash, it's a gentle pull from the belts nothing more.

I really felt it on a MB test drive where I was adjusting the mirror and reaching over and apparently had it in drive (foot on brake). |
