I realise there are differing versions of bhp, all quite close in value but does the 355bhp / 265kw stack up with the 360bhp spec? 265kw / 355bhp is suspiciously like the pre-MY2020 spec, I wonder if BMW bothered changing the declaration for the 2020 spec in Europe.

I did a rolling dyno run today with Charlie in Surrey, Surrey Rolling Road LTD, awesome chap!
My car is 2019 UK M40i with OPF, production date 2019-03-15. I've got little over 9300 miles right now and around 1200 miles since last oil change. Car is stock for most- I only changed charge pipe and fitted aluminium Masata charge pipe. I use Esso premium 99 and that's what dyno has been been run on. On the pre-run car got to 388.8 before xdrive kicked in and started limiting the engine power. |

That's interesting and thanks for posting. My 2019 M40i is now at just under 11,000 miles and I am tempted to pop over to see Charlie.
I follow The Performance Centre in Sunderland a lot of FB and they seem to reckon about 365-375 bhp for a post OPF M40i. Surrey Rolling Road does have a reputation for being accurate and that is a reputation built over many years ... even if he is now in Hampshire |
