It's an actual model.

TT would be a difficult acronym to decipher on a BMW forum.

If this was a car lounge I bet most would think Audi as displayed by the responses.

"OP" 😁

Great comparison review!
LoL, I thought the same thing. I might have to look into the Audi TT if it’s faster than the M5. Took me a minute to decipher that he meant a Porsche turbo S.
I guess for me, knowing every car model Porsche TTS was automatically the only one that is capable doing 1/4 mil. In 10sec.

I am just a total car freak and read to much about every single car that is out there. Lol

I was thinking a heavily modified

Audi TTDSG

But as I think back I forgot OP had a TT
He did a write up on M5 and TT

As I recall the dude house is off the chain

ghetto colloquialism for nice house

M340 is a fantastic car and looks awesome!

That said...

When you say beating current M models; you mean what?

I can tell you first hand an M does what it does with aplomb!!! 🦅

By definition:

a·plomb
/əˈpläm,əˈpləm/
noun
self-confidence or assurance, especially when in a demanding situation.

OP; sorry about hi jack

Again congrats on X3M

Correct..... 1) not as much into other brands... 2) also only saw the headline and wondered why OP was reviewing 3 BMWs (2 SUV and one sedan and an AUDI sportscar)

As far as I am concerned.. the above should be referenced..

911
911 S

I mean really.. using " TT" instead of 911 saves a SINGLE key stroke... seriously .. and of course there actually is another car that IS a TTS... so..

I just googled 911 Turbo S and google came up with 2020 911 Turbo S.

Just measure up the front clearance tonight. 265 will not fit for winters up front fwiw. Factory exhaust is nice. Twin 70mm pipe everywhere.

Suspension is killer.

Built like a tank with the M5 derived Front diff, transfer case, trans, rear diff, etc. etc. Killer strong.

There was massive confusion here too...I thought where is the 10.4 second Audi TTS and why haven't I seen it!

Anyway, I drove the X3MC and M5C when I was at Advanced M School at VIR a few weeks ago. The X3MC was really only a demo lap, but both are kind of non-visceral or disconnected versus say an M4/C or M2/C. Great cars though...for all it does and for the money, the X3MC is a no-brainer if you need the versatility.

Hi,
Out of interest - what exact model of Audi TT do you have?
Is it a 2019 TTS or 2019 TTRS?
Reason I ask is that the TTS has a four cylinder turbo engine and the TTRS has a 5 cylinder turbo.
Neither have a flat 6 TT
Cheers
Steve
Yeah seriously I'm like wtf kind of TTS does 131mph trap. Not sure why he he's using that name for a 911 Turbo S. LOL
You guys are not much Into other brands.

TT = Twin Turbo
TTS = Twin Turbo S
Uhhh

No.

TT = Audi TT
TTS = Audi TTS

It's pretty straightforward. If you're talking about a 911 it's wise to add a 911 in there (911 TT or 911 TTS) or generation designation (993, 996, etc.). This is as bad as those people who call their Tesla Model 3s as "M3" and yes they exist.

The end.

I agree. If anything, the 911 turbo can just be abbreviated, "turbo" and the S, "turbo S." It does have that cache and nobody will mistake what you mean.

did it rub on inside tire?

My 265’s arrive today and will be sent back. I put the X3M on my lift last night. Plenty of room for larger rear tires.

Front tire (255) to the shock is only 0.23” clearance. The additional section width of a 265 will hit the shock

So I guess that sets the limits for the fronts now (we were already there at factory. Hah). Do we know the max width yet for rears on stock 21 rims?

Didn’t measure the rear since I had ordered a square 265 set up, but visually, there is definitely room to grow. The front will require a spacer or custom offset wheels.

Just guessing, I bet a 285 will fit in the rear. Need to measure.

You think that fit on the factory rim too, or would it be wide and flare out at an angle?

I just googled 911 Turbo S and google came up with 2020 911 Turbo S.
I have to admit that I thought he was referring to an Audi TTS and thought how can that be faster than an M5.

Talking of how cars feel to drive, I have to agree, as when I drove an M5, I thought it fast but not engaging, just fast and big, whereas my M3 comp and C63S both have bags of character. The M3 being helped by the MPE, so that it talks to you when you are "on it".
