Unfortunately, there is no FDL to change to enable full-screen through App. It requires additional access and editing software files.

finally I was able to do it.
Yes, I paid $50 for the software and work perfectly.

for the whole process I used the ENET cable and then an adapter to connect it to my laptop. Since I live in a building and in my garage I don't have internet I use my phone as hot spot to connect my laptop to the internet.

The whole process takes 8 min and requires internet during the entire process.

I am planning to use the ENET code for the Bimmer Code App.

Awesome! I just did mine too. Got it from the folks at fscmap.com. They were really great to work with! Full screen makes a huge difference. Totally worth the $. First world problems.

Only 30?
It seems cheaper than my option that I paid 50
Anyway total worth it to have it full screen try today in the road looks great

What is the easiest way of getting this in the uk? Either full screen or without?
I haven't got wireless charging but don't want to have to install an antenna. I don't mind leaving my phone in the tray at the bottom to maintain the connection.
Been using Waze in my parents car and the seems so strange to not get it in a 50k car.

Did you look at the Connected store? With wireless charging you should be able to you Carplay from there.

I have the same, and had fullscreen carplay enabled by ddcoding (check out Instagram or FB).

He gives you a lifetime activation code, so if software is updated by BMW, he will put it back. Can and does do plenty remote coding sessions, and has done many many M40i's, M40d's, and the rest of range.

Works fine keeping phone in tray...agree completely it is a p*ss take not being on £50k car!
