BMW X3M Exhaust valves not opening Fully

Hello to everyone,
I’m trying to get my exhaust valves open but I’m really struggling to do so…
I have tried sport plus starts, revs, drove it in sport plus and even got a OBD adapter and downloaded Bimmer Link but nothing. On the Bimmer link it stays in auto mode.
The exhaust just opens to more or less 1/4….
FYI
It’s a x3m Competition LCI 2021

Just get under there and steel zip tie them open. Plenty of tutorials on here. I’m not handy and did it in 10-15 min.

I had the same issue, this is the answer

With the Flap Control X you can set the valves to be open all the time i.e. even on start up which is great.
I went on to have an equal length midpipe installed and boy am I glad I have the daehler installed. I have had to set the flaps to be closed on start it up. The midpipe comes off next week and convert back to standard as it’s too much for me and my neighbours. The daehler open 24/7 with the standard exhaust is adequate for an old timer
It’s a home produced product for you my friend

Bimmerlink does not work for the LCI to keep the flap open.

I am happy with the SST controller (made in Germany). It has multiple modes, always open, always closed, 1/2 open, and factory operation. It also doesn't throw error codes.
