Make sure they're not charging you $350 for just tinting the fronts. You could get everything done (front, rear & moon roof) at a reputable shop in the GTA for more or less the same price.

Nah, I got it tinted (70%) as well. I don't have pics of the moon roof or what the rear windshield looks like though.

I don't have a good picture of what the rear windshield tinted looks like though

Dam! That's one sweet looking ride. Nailed it! I'm doing the same. What type or make of tint is it. Love the phytonic blue. I was torn between that and Dark Graphic. Order the Dark Graphic. Wondering if I made a mistake. What did you take as the interior colour. I did mocha

What shop did you get the tints done? Also how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking. I cant wait to him get mine in the next month or so...ordered the same color and glad I did it looks amazing.

Emailed my dealer today and asked what the 295$ quote for tints included. This is the response.

"For the tints, the X3 the windows come tinted from the manufacturer on the back passenger and back window. You`d only have to tint the driver side windows. For that the cost would be $295. The moon roof comes tinted already by the manufacturer at 50%."

I wrote back asking if it's real tint that repels heat and UV rays or just colour In the glass.

Either way 295$ for 2 windows is nuts.

For tint, I got XPEL Prime XR applied. My previous X3 I had LLumar FormulaOne Pinnacle applied. Both are/have been great.

I'm sure you'll be happy with the dark graphite colour

In the interior, I chose the tartufo merino leather with the cove wood trim. It was a no brainer for me when it's only $700 more with the Ultimate Package (vs $2,900 by itself). Here's a pic of the interior

There was no particular reason in changing it up this time around. For convenience sake, I just wanted everything to be done at one shop as I was getting PPF and Opti-Coat Pro Plus applied as well. I believe both places will have similar pricing (between $350-$400) for their nano ceramic tints. I got a bit of a discount since I chose to do all 3 (tint, PPF, Opti-Coat) at one place.

My dealer told me this is standard tint on the X3. They don't know if it protects against UV and reduces heat. They will get back to me Monday. Seems odd. Looks already tinted. Thoughts.

Diaolos my dealer, by coincidence, called me today and said basically the same, that the rear side windows and the back/trunk window are tinted by default during manufacturing (I didn't ask if it protects against UV).
In order to make all side windows look the same I'm paying for tinting (30 or 35%) the front side windows during manufacturing.

They told me the moon roof it tinted at 50%. They did not mention the sides. I will ask Monday when they get back to me about the UV and heat repelling. I also asked if it was to late to switch to phytonic blue. It was. Delivery is set around feb 20

Stand alone prices:
XPEL Ultimate (Full Front) - $1975 + HST
XPEL Ultimate (Luggage strip) - $100 + HST
Opti-Coat Pro Plus (Full Car) - $1500 + HST

The luggage strip is the small area behind the trunk where you load items.

For those of you that have posted percentage off MSRP achieved.

1) Are those percentages calculated purely on MSRP (not including freight+PDI?)?
2) Those posted, did the dealer charge you admin and lease acquisition fees, etc.?

Still negotiating but my dealer is taking a percentage off and also waiving all non-crucial admin fees (they are only charging tire, AC tax and PDI, no admin fees). Just curious if others are considering these fees in their discounts?

My calculation was off MSRP strictly. No other fees other than the ones you mentioned. All other fees were taken off.

Total list with freight PDI but with all admin fees waived on a 2019 M40i with Ultimate + Metallic Paint is around $78,500 before taxes. 7% off brings you around $74,000... Take off $1750 for your other discounts and still at $72,250... Still pretty far from $68k... what am I missing?

I've got Mocha over dark grey. Very happy with the choice, even though the Merino leather would have been a better choice, in Tartufo. But for me that was unnecessary money at the moment.

My base discount was greater than 7% - just didn't post it. Further, typo in a previous post. Meant to say pdi/freight was ADDITIONAL not included.
