Put me down as a M40i

There is a 18d as well in some regions, think maybe a 25d as well?

Ugghhh the POLL part of the new thread didn't work, odd!

Forget this one, I'll try again....

Are we sure about the 18d or 25d really?

Yep, m40i in NL is $ 124.000, you can add another $ 15.000 for options.

Thats the reason why the 20i is by far the biggest seller. Also gass is a bit more expansive $7 per gallon. Even the 20i is almost as expansive as the X3 M in the US.

Wow I didn't think there was anywhere more expensive than Ireland - a bargain $99,000 here (€87K starting price)

I know in Norway I used to work they had this crazy shit whereby if you removed the rear seats and pay less tax :-|

Is that shit still going on? I wonder if is appropriate to NL also?

They even got different coloured licence plates :-) . Crap though if you have any friends/kids etc...

When working in Denmark also the dude I was working with said the taxes are SUPER high over there for new car.

That is crazy. Thankful to be living in the U.S. The cars I've owned here I would not have been able to own in Europe, unless I had made significant sacrifices. Folks over there are being bled dry. Sad.

Singapore is not alone... Hong Kong, for example, will cost you about 2.5-3.0 times the normal price we pay for the same car...

Fortunately, these cities also have very good public transportation infrastructure to take care of their residents, unlike most people in US whom will become 'prisoners' in their own houses if they don't have access to cars.

Besides taxes, strong competition among car manufacturers also tend to keep prices a bit lower in US, so good to have plenty of car choices.

My buddy in the Philippines just paid $154K for his 2018 XDrive 35D X5. LOL. Nuts. A 2019 XDrive 20i X3 is $125K. Insane.

Congrats, its a great all round package the M40D.

I'm averaging 41.2 mpg now too according to the onboard. Eats up the miles this car.

The delta between the 20i and 30i is € 13.000,-
Insane...
Especially because it's. The. Same. Effin'. Engine...

I learned in Greece it's even € 18.000,-
