I've only just seen this! Car looks great, especially the grilles and mirrors, I think you have made me decide to wrap my mirrors black!
Personally I prefer the original wheels though, but then you US guys do like your aftermarket wheels it seems! |

I honestly don't think I've seen a better application of BBS rims since about 1984.
Those rain pics are pretty special as well. I've scanned back up this thread a couple of times to look at them.

Such a photogenic machine - beautiful! I have to say, I really like those BBS rims and I prefer the shots with the cerium grey grilles fitted - it’s looks classy, sporty, and expensive.

Thank you very much! I do miss the grey accents as well. I may experiment with mixing and matching at some point when I want a change from the all black look.

For those that are interested, here are some pics of when I ran the 255 40 21 and 285 35 21 Continental ContiSportContact 5 tires on 21x9 and 21x10.
The non-runflat tires (which also have a little more meat in this setup) are so much more compliant and smooth. But I switched the tires back out to the Pirelli Runflats because I like the lower profile look on the LM's as opposed to the beefy look. But that's subjective. Also, I had to remove the spacers for this setup as it rubbed with the wider tires. I hope Michelin comes out with a 245 40 21 and 275 35 21 P4S setup soon. The sloping sidewall of the Pirelli Pzero PZ4 makes the tires look stretched, even though they aren't so a straighter Michelin P4S sidewall would be perfect.

Thank you for the new photos. I’m old fashioned and like a bit of rubber on my tyres. But I respect those who like low profile and less rubber. It would be very boring if we all liked the same things.

Gotta say your X3 is one of the best looking ones around! Really nicely done! Makes me super anxious to pick up mine, err I mean my wife’s at the end of this week.
