Exclamation

Hello,

I took my car into an independent BMW garage earlier today to update the NBTevo software and they updated "everything" except the headunit which "crashed" so is now showing a blue screen with "flashing time 00:00:00". The next appointment my BMW main dealer has is 2 weeks today.

Is someone able to help me please? I am in West Sussex/Surrey in the UK. My main concern right now is the battery draining as I haven't seen the screen turn off yet.

Really hoping the forum community can help me out here. I have an ENET cable.

Many thanks.

Have you tried to reset it?

Press the volume knob in for 30 seconds

Release

I left the car locked for 10 minutes and the screen is off now. Hopefully that means the battery will not drain.

But still no NBTevo firmware…

I’d still do a full reboot via the 30s push.

I just tried, no luck. The screen stays blue - no change at all.
