so essentially the US market 2020 X3/X4's are getting the metailic finish buttons that the folks across the pond received on some trim levels at introduction. Rear USB's ok,,cool

However, I am not feeling the new "bezel-less" instrument pod...perhaps that's just me..

Problem is you have to let go of the wheel to reach the button with your thumb. I feel like you should be able to press any button on the wheel without removing your grip.

My X3M40 is probably my last bimmer until they get rid of the live dash. Its live trash in my opinion. It makes no sense the direction the needle goes and the middle of the screen is a complete waste. You cant customize the center of the screen at all. And the other models are getting the new center console layout that looks and feels super cheap. Sucks cause this is all new and going to take a while for them to move away from it.

I wonder if the console wireless charger will be upgraded to a fast charger. The one in the current X3/X4 is terribly slow and pretty much worthless.

For x3 only plus is offered.

Btw too bad that bmw doesn't offer galvanized buttons for m wheel but only for sport one. Doesn't make any sense.

I saw those wheels being used at the assembly plant a couple of weeks ago, so they must have been putting 2020's together when we were there.

Those wheels are not really new, right? It seems they are the Style 694 wheels if I recall it right. If I'm correct, those wheels have been available for more than an year. At least in Canada I saw winter packages with them last winter.

Anyone know the specs of the USB-C ports? Have they actually got upgraded electronics behind them so they might be able to charge a laptop (45W/60W)? Or are they still only capable of charging a phone at 1% per hour?
