Anyone know why when I add the residual + outstanding balance it is $1090 over the total payoff amount? Also are they factoring in my MSDs or am I getting it refunded once the lease is satisfied(bought out)?

You know, I'm really not sure. I'd like to say a 22 X3Mc when the time comes, but I'm keeping my options open. I WFH now and I have a spare car to piddle around in, so I might take my time on this one.

Driveway came today and picked it up. Was an absolute breeze, they had the check ready for me. My associate mentioned how they were offering higher than other companies since they were new. Would highly recommend to anyone looking into it. Onto the next thing...

My last driveway quote expired. It was actually a bit less than offered 60 days ago. I have added 1000 miles in driving and just asked for a re quote. It actually is the highest I got in last 90 days. I’m trying to negotiate guilia quad that is 88k, only three in country with the sparco seats, exposed carbon roof and carbon exterior and steer wheel. Alfa guys hanging onto their shit for dear life as they aren’t getting quads till early 2022.

My buddy just had his Nring bought back by the dealer. Major misfire issues with that engine that a bunch of owners have experienced. He had a Guilia base before that too. Terrible reliability. I wouldn't touch a Alfa for anything.

To add to the current values data, I got offered $67K from autonation for a 21 X3M w/ 4,900 miles. Only upgrades are driver assistance plus, 21" rims, and M sport seats/Merino. Location is GA.

I just got it and decided to keep it as I love it and $70K was my threshold to get me over the edge on selling.

All the other companies were around $63K.

Is $70k achievable for a loaded ‘21 comp? I have my eye on a 997.2 C4S…

You can get pretty close if you catch Driveway or Vroom on the right day. Prices seem to be fluctuating by the hour.

Certified '09 with buckets out in MA…pretty set on a 997 as I'd like to own before moving to a 991. Feels like the buckets would get old for daily duty though…

I just sold mine to Vroom for 72k. Only 800 miles on it though.

2019. A lot of people are having issues with the V6TT, even the new ones, and Alfa insisted on carbon cleaning it ever 5k miles to 'resolve' the issue. The fact that it built up enough carbon on the valves in 5k miles is very telling. Alfa sucked from start to finish and it broke his heart because he loved that car.

It pains me to say this, but stay far away from anything Alfa. I had a Quad and it was in the shop for 8 months. Not because it was a difficult issue to diagnose, but because there are ZERO parts available in the US. Everything gets special ordered and takes forever to arrive.

Honest question: what kind of benefits do you see in an Alfa Quadrifoglio vis-à-vis the comparative BMW offering?

Worse reliability
Worse interior
Inferior brand
Costly (at least when I looked at them, they leased much worse than BMW)

I haven't driven them. Maybe it's the driving feel?

That's exactly it - the driving feel. Also, the other quirks with the car - light steering, column mounted paddles, etc. You do get a lot of bang for your buck with them too

Ferrari derived engine…Actually sounds good

The carbon seats are way nicer if you spring for them. Look better obv but also you dont slide around in them either.

No spare tire hump nonsense

Also let's not kid ourselves on bmw workmanship being what it was, especially out of Spartanburg. I think the issues have been well documented here.

Obviously I went for the x3m and probably will do so again, but it's not without competition.

Any updates on values people are getting nowadays?

This is a helpful thread and the chip shortage is not getting any better.
