RWD car w lots of HP,wet surface vs AWD vehicle. Outcome as expected.

My buddy has a tuned/bolt-on Mac 650S and on cold roads(never mind wet lol)w R888's he's gonna lose a drag race to a damn EV Prius

As a mclaren owner that hurts! Lol. But as others have said, mclarens are very strong off the line and top end, this was definitely driver error.

You can. The link in the OP's post has a video clip through TikTok of the race. You can see at the end the driver of the Mclaren totally misjudged the distance to the end of the race track and didn't slow down soon enough.

Looks like a horrible, unprepared surface, covered in gravel - no way I’d be taking my X3M dragging on that never mind a 720s.
