Someone must have an opinion on this. I was hoping to be able to receive emails and text messages. So far I can only flick lights and a few other things.

I send navigation addresses to the car from my phone and occasionally refer to the owners manual or make sure my car is locked. These are all tasks I can perform in other ways, though

It varies with location and device. On a 2017 f25 with office, I was initially able to read emails from android and ios devices. Something changed after an update to android 8 and now the feature is useless for android.

I have 2013 F2, I don't have connected drive yet, I do you the messages, I'm able to read text messages from my Android 8.1 phone, it was never able to read from iPhone when I had one before.
I asked the dealer about the other office functionalities, I was told, it was only compatible with the BlackBerry operating system.

I have the office package and can read text messages through the I drive which is quite useful but cannot get emails to come through using an iPhone X on latest iOS.
