Went this ebay route, it failed like the others at the last stage which is the coding but. Luckily it had done the important stuff ie.. patched the unit to accept custom FSC and installed a full set that allows Carplay etc.

And after a weekend of trawling the internet I figured out the coding to get it working! So finally I've got carplay!

Which coding seller worked successfully?
I'm interested in Carplay coding but I'm nervous about what can go wrong (issues, bricking hu...)

I used the ebay seller above BUT as I said it only worked partly and they didn't know why could be down to the hardware version. The rest of the coding I did myself.

Teaston recommended a guy further up who does it all for you takes the stress out of it!
