Test drove a couple of iX3s in 20s at the dealer and the iX3 ride seems harsh compared to our Tesla Y SR on Tesla's stock 255/45 R19 tyres. Even on the Comfort setting. We have young toddlers sleeping in the back so prioritise ride comfort, and I also prefer not having a staggered setup for tyre longevity.

I'm guessing the 19 inch wheels are better for ride comfort? On both the 19 and 20 inch stock wheels, can I get larger width tyres like 255/45 or 255/50 to maximise comfort, will they fit the stock 19 and 20 inch wheels? Thanks.

I am a bit surprised you felt this way. When I test drove the model Y, I felt the ride was harsher than the Ioniq 5 and iX3 even for me as the driver. So far my wife and son who have motion sickness have found the iX3 (with 20") to be somewhat better than our previous A4 (with stock 17").
