Thanks for this - Chapter 5 of "Voltage Supply and Bus Systems" adds clarity when trying to work out which fuses are switched or constant - i.e. useful when hardwiring anything.

Thanks for the info.
Just a FYI - the PDF's are not showing if I view this thread via the Bimmerpost App, but I could find them easily using a web browser. For my own convenience and maybe a few others, here is the link https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showt...php?p=24100347 |

Compared to our owner’s manual, so much more detail around the driver assistance systems and how they are designed to function in various circumstances. Thanks for posting. At first I thought these were just offline copies of the repair manuals on newtis.info, but they are so much more.

Interesting typo in the Powertrain document. Page 9 says “396 ft-lbs” of torque in the chart vs. 369 which is highlighted directly above. Hmmmmmmm ....

Thanks ynguldyn for posting. These manuals are almost priceless for those of us that prefer to purchase and keep their vehicles.

Seems to answer some of those questions I've been seeing about ASS being intelligent in that it will turn the engine back on or prevent it from turning off if the car in front of you starts moving and a few other intelligent ways of working.
