Thanks for the detailed timeline. So it looks like from production start to delivery is about a month.

When does the production date show up using the F12 trick? Mine is still NA with no VIN.

I’ve found it best to do the F12 trick at the screen before the one where you can see the detailed status. Hope that helps!

I believe you also need to be in status "production begins" and have a VIN before a production date shows up

Mine made it to the dealership on Saturday. Arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Unfortunately it arrived too late so couldn't take delivery. I'll be picking it up today!

Calling Genius and my CA, they both tell me the same thing and neither have any information that I can't already acquire myself.

Sorry to hear that, I know how brutal the wait can be. I second you on the genius feedback. I've called a couple times and they are less than useful. I am able to come up with more information here than they are able to give me. Hope you get your whip soon 🙏

Just called the BMW Genius , I was quoted a week 32 build. But he also just told me that completion is scheduled for Aug 17th.

Probably others have better info on this timing because they've experienced it. But some notes that I think are worth considering:

• Production Date should be the date it finishes production.
• It looks like it takes between two and three calendar days to move all the way through to QA check.
• Status updates can lag the actuals. Something may have already occurred to your vehicle and it takes a couple of days for the system to catch-up. Also, BMW's MyGarage and Tracking have been atypically unavailable the last three days.
• Because mine was changed from 20 July to 23 July, a Saturday, I think they are working overtime on weekends.
• Watching several of us have this rescheduled and all piling-up, my guess is they are working overtime.
• While I don't have automotive factory experience, I do have assembly-line experience in other industries that have switch-overs, and so I suspect that they are trying desperately to finalize all Model Year 2022's this week and next. That's because they need to retool the line somewhat for MY2023's. That may only take a day or two to accomplish, but it does put a stop in the flow.
• If everything is a finely-oiled process (parts all arrive in the queue), then we should be fine. It's not their first rodeo.

If the assembly is in South Carolina (BMW X7) , how long after production complete, the vehicle will be at your dealer (in southwest US)

I got to tour the factory today and saw a Brooklyn grey with tarufo X3M getting to the end of the assembly line. I couldn't remember the exact production number on it though.

Anyone have that spec getting completed today?
