Dear Almaretto
I was able to read coding data for CAS and FRM and I could make coding for both. However, It didnt read the HU_Entry nav Therefore I didnt make any coding.
Btw I used the last PSDzdata you uploaded.

What else can I do?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Are you selecting the available ECU (the one with the green check mark)?

When you mean it did not read HU_Entry, you mean you got a "not found [C012]" error? What is full cafd name?

i just have to get myself a cable, as there are a few functions i would like to code as default.

1) retract side mirrors, remote for tailgate, eco mode, and do not turn off engine.

Dear Almaretto
I just copied the error message here below:

CAFD_00000DED_003_015_039 Fehler:
CPS read from ECU "ECUId:HU_ENTRYNAV_0x63" failed! [C070]
negative response error:
code: TIMEOUT P2/T2 occurred
description: P2 timeout on Service RDBI_CPS has error in result: [Severity=2051][ErrorCode=58640][ErrorCodeDescription=resource not available][VendorCode=2142][VendorCodeDescription=P2 timeout occured]; LinkName: HU_ENTRYNAV_63_ETHERNET
severity: ERROR
[2130765072]

I think the CAFD file is: CAFD_00000DED_003_015_039
I checked the PSDZdata and the CAFD file is there:
cafd_00000ded.caf.003_015_039

One more thing. When I did the first coding sesion the system asked me to set time and date and the kilometers of the trip info sere set to zero. Also it appeared a message to take the car to the dealer. This message disappeared after setting time and date and to turn off the car. I noticed that the fuel compsumtion has turned high (according to cluster info 5km/l instead of 8-9 km/l that I got before coding).

Thanks in advance

That is not a PSdzdata error. That is a communication or configuration error.

Is engine running?
What Launcher Chassis and E-sys Connection target are you using?

No. I did the process without engine running ( i thought it should be correct).
After checking your link below i realized I did not follow the correct procedure.

F025 for. BMW x3 f25

I think I have partially sorted out the problem:

I followed a procedure ( i think it is yours Almaretto) of generating CAFD files from original FA and SVT
Using my backup files (the ones i had before making any coding).
So I used the CAFD for the HU_Entry Nav (using new FDL).
I was able to access to the HU cadf files ( it was not possible before) and I did the coding I wanted ( sport display). After changing the parameters i did FDL coding and I got a warning but it worked.

important to mention that when i read the SVT data the ECU HUEntryNav is not shown but I can change the FDL parameters using the backup SVT.
Do you know what procedure should i follow to see the HUEntryNav ECU again?

Thank tou very much for your support.

SVT is a list of ECU's with their firmware version. You cannot Edit parameters with it, so I do not follow.

Make sure engine is running and try Read ECU. Engine maintains battery voltage to avoid shutdown and corruption.

I mean I have the SVT list of ECUs
I choose the one corresponding to HUentryNav
I go to the corresponding CAFD file (green color)
Right click —> New —> i choose the original CAFD file i got (from FA and SVT backupdata)
Then it is expanded the CAFD file
Read coding data and FDL editor: and i change the parameters to show sport display.
then I did the normal CODE FDL

And that is it

Make sure engine is running and try Read ECU. Engine maintains battery voltage to avoid shutdown and corruption.
I will try this tomorrow

Thank you very much

Hi experts, regarding the BMW X3 28i Xdrive (F25) 2017. Do you know what is the part number for the 6WB digital cluster?
I want to make this retrofit.

Allegedly (According to release notes), Windows XP support was added back in starting in Launcher 2.7.0. But, have never tried it as I do not have any XP systems left.

See if you can install E-sys and Launcher.

I assume TMS replaces an existing TMS, in which case install TMS, Read and Activate FA, and VO Code TMS Module.

ok for people trying to get a Windows XP native PC installation up and running it is impossible. Even though 2.8.2 now supports "supports XP", it requires .NET 4.6.1, and won't install unless .NET version is done. However when you go to install .NET 4.6.1 or any later version it does a check, which blocks you from installing.

If you try to install any previous 2.8 version, it wont install on XP.

Onto a windows 7 install which i hope i can get working.

However i would like the coding information for the following:

1) driving lights to be on when headlights are on (low beam high beam or angel eyes)
2) default the car into eco mode

1. Should be from factory, unless I am misunderstanding.
2. So Code it. On cheat sheet and in cheat codes.

My driving lights (the little round ones) are only activated once i hit the button which is separate to the headlights dial. the only way they are activated is by pushing the button.

option 2 i can't see on aprils cheat sheet attached on post 1 of thread.

Those aren't driving lights... no such thing as "driving lights".

Those are called fog lights. And you have to activate them by pushing the button. When it's foggy, at night.

And eco mode during startup is in the cheat sheet: ICM Module / IcmKod_B_InitEco
