2022 X3M Competition F97 Individual Sepia Violet (474)

I remember when I ordered my first RS3, it was supposed to be delivered in August, when my lease ran out on my STi, and ended up showing up the end of May. Had to pull some strings with Subaru to get out of my lease even. The trackers never seem to be very accurate, all of sudden it will be done and skip 5 steps. Kinda makes you wonder what each of those steps is?

Yeahhhh...it jumped 3 steps this morning.
Went from QUALITY CHECK to AWAITING CARRIER ASSIGNMENT all within the hour.
FINAL ASSEMBLY & READY FOR TRANSPORT must not have been important.

Does anyone know what the option for BMW M 50 Years Emblems represents?

I haven't seen any on this board but on the M3/4 board. Not a fan.

I think they come by default but you can option them out.

I didn't proactively remove them when I built mine but my vin doesn't show them included. Production just finished.

Maybe this isn't the case for all M models?

What I read is they will come by default but that was the M3/4 forum.

I think it's likely that the April/May builds fell in between the change over. If you go build one now, you have to choose standard emblems. Either way, happy to have the standard ones!

Yea BMW could have done something really cool perhaps carbon fiber.

The anniversary ones, I guess intentionally, look 50 years old

Looks like Brooklyn Grey in pictures the main reason I went for Brooklyn Grey; it only looks different next to actual Nardo grey in person. Without the 2 next to each other it's moot to me. I don't mind the blue undertone to Brooklyn grey. I do like the $5k savings though

Yea they are similar. See my other thread I took pictures next to a x4m BG. Also signature prices went down to 3600

I looked at your thread and I saw the Nardo in person before ordering. It's just wasn't worth the extra $3600-$5000 to me. To each their own. I like both colors FWIW. The whole "it's on the base model x3" argument doesn't do it for me. I see Nardo on Kia sedans all day everyday here in Los Angeles. This type of color grey (Nardo and Brooklyn) are very common now in my region on many brands, models, and trim lines. Enjoy your ride. I'm enjoying mine!
