Picked this up in 2017, before the madness. In hindsight glad I did as it's the only one I'll have for a while lol. Like everyone else id like a stainless GMT or Sub but def not going to pay over for it. I'm good for now. Subtle enough to wear daily

Has anyone ever used Chrono24 to sell a watch? The selling prices seem a bit high to me, but that's what has me intrigued as I should be able to offer a reasonable price point below all the others for sale.

I asked Bob's Watches for a price on my Daytona and I didn't care for the number. It was close, but still too far away to let the watch go. Bob's was incredibly fast on their response and super professional. I think I'd buy from them if I were in the market (no affiliation).

Never sold but purchased from Chrono24. Heard good things about Boba too . Also check Crown and Caliber - just seems slightly better as a service. They actually even give your watch a good inspection and service / regulation as needed prior to selling.

The prices for all these places are gonna be higher than direct person to person sales since they take a cut. I've bought and sold pretty expensive watches on reddit and WUS, but for something like a daytime, I'd definitely go through a more official channel.

I’ve heard good things about Chrono24, but I still don’t feel comfortable buying there. I’d rather go through a more trusted broker like Watchfinder&Co. (Which has started selling out or Nordstrom’s here in Seattle!)

One of the cheapest I own (if not the cheapest)… my beach vaca travel watch. Gets more compliments than most of my other watches…. Of course. Currently enjoying it in its proper setting though!

I ended up selling to Watchfinder&Co

Thanks for the recommendation. They gave a much better offer than Bob's. Watch arrived there today so we shall see what happens.

Today was a good day.. Lady Jane might like this in particular haha.

I found a new watch maker /watch repair place today, took one of my watches there as the crown was loose. Turns out the problem is worse than that and theres several teeth missing on one of the gears inside. Okay thats a bummer, left the watch there for repair.

As I get ready to leave, I'm looking at the various old watches under the glass counter. Among the rabble in one of the display cases something caught my eye...

An original 1966 Accutron Spaceview! For $300! Excellent condition and freshly serviced. Insanely good deal.

I’m far from a watch guy but even I think that’s cool. Know nothing about Accutron but having a dope watch from the 60’s is enviable nonetheless.
