As for me, I love the seiko cocktail watches. Each time a new limited edition star bar comes out, I grab it.

Generally I dont like gold,, but yesterday the "Houjou" arrived, based on the namesake - a popular Japanese sake cocktail. The wisps on the dial are supposed to represent the fields of rice from which sake is brewed, swaying in the wind. Pictures don't do the dial justice, and while I'm not sold on the rice fields idea, it's a beautiful dial reminiscent of more highly coveted grand seiko dials.

Neat watch, Accutron with mechanical movements. Not the electronic movements in it. How long have you had it.

Usually, I'll throw on an Apple watch - of my mechanicals, though, this one is my favorite.

I'm keen to get a MoonSwatch, but will have to wait for the market to calm down.

Also, I feel the need to look at them all in person to decide which one suits best ... spoilt for choice

Hmmm… following…. Fun looking watch, and def in my (get one to play with) price range. Reading a few different articles that they are not supposed to be limited and eventually will be available to order online. Hopefully that's true. Regardless- interesting collaboration…

I currently switch between the Apple Watch Series 4 and the Rolex "Kermit" Submariner for my drives. Love them both for different reasons!

Agreed. Be good for daily chores…

If I do manage to get one, it will probably be the Mercury mission one and I'll probably change the strap.

No issue with Velcro, but the logo/badge looks tacky to my eyes ..

Well Swatch said at some point they'll be available online in unlimited quantities, but given the ridiculous response to them I have a feeling they're gonna ride out the in-store exclusivity for a while longer to bring more business to their brick and mortar stores.

The FXD looks super nice, the only reason I wouldn't get it is because I guess I already have a blue pelagos lol but more importantly, its on a NATO and the pelagos bracelet and clasp are the absolute best at any price point and I will die on this hill if I have to.

The velcro is more "authentic" but I agree, doesn't look good at all.

As for the chores, idk I'm not afraid to put my nicer watches through the ringer and accrue some scratches (unlike my car). Took this pic exactly a week ago but happened to wear the same watch today, and looking close you can see quite a few imperfections

I bit the bullet and got on the Rolex list at my local AD for this bad boy. The guy said it will probably be two or more years before I get a call (if ever)

I have a two-tone Daytona (116523, 4130 movement) but frankly, I'm thinking of selling it. I hardly ever wear it and it just sits on the watch winder.

This isn't mine, but it is what it looks like:
