Where did you get that? I'd ordered a cover that was sold as fitting X3, but didn't fit the car at all. It was too tall to fit the windshield. Had to send it back. Another poster tried out an inexpensive unit that they got from Amazon. That fit, so I got one & it fits fine, but I don't know how long it'll hold up. When it's time to replace it, I'd like to get the Covercraft. I've had them before & they're well made.

I am interested in wheel locks so did some research. I've read a few posts from people stating that the OEMs can break so I was looking for a better solution.
Everyone seemed to recommend RAD locks. I called the US supplier (Otis Inc LA) who informed me that it appears RAD is going out of business (the German maker is not making any more and selling his machinery). He instead recommended Farad (Italian Made) which have a rotating collar: Newer Style (Galaxy): https://otisincla.com/product/farad-...ne-seat-black/ Older Style (Star): https://otisincla.com/product/farad-...black-one-key/ They also come in black unlike the RAD locks which I would have to spray paint. I like the ease of OEM but it seems these are better (I hope). |

The collar on these (star model) are supposed to rotate (and I assume the nut/outer ring on the galaxy) so you can't hammer on a socket and take them off that way. Regarding the washer, I spoke to the guy at Otis who informed me in Europe they will not pass inspection if the washer is not included on a lug. He also said you likely will prevent scratching the inside of the lug housing because the lug will rotate against the washer instead of the wheel and it could also allow a truer torque rating because the lug is sliding against the washer rather than the wheel. Other than that, he said the washer doesn't make much difference at all and he's never heard of any issues with the washer not included. |

Had my winter tires put in storage and finally drove it on summers. Fingers crossed the weather remains decently above 50. Also had an emissions recall, which required some sort of update. Further, I mentioned the issue with the tow latch falling off; they applied a light adhesive, so it's still removable, but sturdier.

Alex,
That looks cool especially with the carbon fiber. Though I'm curious, isn't "M Performance" meant to indicate non-full M models like the M40i? Edit - I was looking at these for the back that the GO1 crowd is using. https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...9&postcount=52 Where did you get yours? |

How did you know it would fit? I assume these are front only, not the full set, correct? They look awesome. I would be curious of any install tips. |

Yes, just the front. These are original MPE parts for F97, so there was no doubt about the fit. For some reason, they are not sold here in the US. Install is super easy. There are youtube videos, five minutes of work.

I'm debating if I should match the fronts with the knock off rears or get these fronts that look cool and keep the rears off. I assume the fronts are too big to fit in the rears but even if they did that is a lot of money on door sills! |
