I'm not even sure I can afford the Akra carbon exhaust tips

When I was younger I dreamed of being able to own a BMW one day. Now I dream about outfitting my BMW with an Akrapovic exhaust one day. Not so sure that's going to happen though as I don't think I will ever be wealthy enough to justify paying that kind of money for bent titanium pipes and a muffler.

An exhaust shouldn't cost more than 2,000 and that's for a fancy one. It's just pure profit, supply and demand allows this to happen.

Tough call and the M sport exhaust is actually not bad. I had it on the X5M and miss it so time to pull the trigger this weekend. I think Ben is going to be my new best friend from RGSport...

I make Springs for automotive and I know how much we charge our costumers and for how much they sell.

I will likely never get an Akrapovic exhaust, just because I'm too cheap to pay that much. BUT, I'm smitten with them, because I think that name is so freakin' cool. Maybe I can get them to send me a sticker or something...

Thanks Ben and for the record there is nothing wrong with honest work making honest pay. You provide a service for us and you deserve to make a profit. That is what drives our country, not handouts and entitlements. I worked hard for that money and I am happy to spend it on something well made and quality that brings me joy and you make that happen. It says in the description will require a tune, if thats the case then people may aswel just get any exhaust thats not opf standard and remap it, seems companys are using the opf /gpf as a way of charging more money

It’s only for the center pipe, because it will trip the CEL.

Dont doubt that its good work but toooo much for an exhuast.
Had AWE Exhaust on my 340i and it was amazing, so I think i'll be waiting for them for the X3M for sure before considering dishing out that much for Akrapovic!
