Thanks Shawn!

Following is my X1 I-step picture, (shipment ): F056-16-07-506, (Current): F056-19-11-534, I ever used E-Sys 3.27.1, and latest PSdz: v.4.21.20_PSdZData_Lite, but failed on "Search".

Which version E-sys Launcher (or E-sys) would you suggest to re-try? And do you have them?

Appreciate your great supports!

Kent

You can use E-Sys Launcher PRO 2.8.2 for free, at least until April 2020 when it expires:
http://tokenmaster.blogspot.com/2019...r-pro-282.html

If it is still Trimmed you need to get Launcher PRO 3.x from TokenMaster.

Shawn,

I have a 2016 F25 and have been trying to code the Brake Force Display to outer brakes and 3rd brake light unsuccessfully via BIMMERCODE. I have Bi-xenon headlamps and halogen taillights.

Am I missing something in Expert Mode via BIMMERCODE?

I have no idea. I don't use Bimmercode myself.

Retrofit heated steering on X4 (F26), coding and retrofit help please.

Hi,

I am a total newbee to coding and this is my very first post. I have read about it for quite sometime in the last 2-3 months or so.
I have an F26 (2016 production) 35d with no heated steering. I want to retrofit heated steering from X3/X4 (G01/02).

I need help with the following:

1. Link to all the coding software whichever is latest and PSDZdata file and cheatsheets and of course a guide to code the heated steering and lane departure warning.

2. After looking at the steering wheels and stalk/switch, there are pins 9 and 11 on the rear 12pin connector. Is there a step by step guide (idiotproof for me) to hard wire these pins into junction boxes. Or will it work if I hardwire these two pins to the cigarette lighter in the cupholder section in front of the automatic trans lever. I believe the cigarette lighter socket sleeps in a couple of minutes of stopping engine and locking the car.

3. Similar situation with the extra pins on the second connector on the stalk/switch which I believe controls the LD, cruise control etc. On X4 switch pins are present at 1,3,4,7,9,11,12 whereas the G01 stalk/switch only has pins at 3,4,7,9 and 11 - pins 1 and 12 are missing. I do not know what to do about missing pins and if at all this can be achieved. But if the Lane departure does not work, its not the end of the world, as long as steering heating is working.

I have attached the pictures of both steering wheels and stalk/switches - the first two are the current (X4 - F26) steering wheel and stalk and the bottom two are the G01 steering wheel and stalk - having arrows marked is the G01 stalk.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You should probably start a new thread. People don't look at this thread a lot because they know it's mostly people requesting a software PM.

Amazing long long life thread. Great job, shawn!
One question: in thread https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=983244,
Almaretto notes "Use Launcher Pro Desktop Shortcut to Open E-Sys. Do NOT open E-Sys directly. " I think maybe the key point is the .est token file? Please PM me this file. Thanks in advance!
I installed E-SYS 3.27.1 and PSdZData Lite from above link, and my car 2014 X3 35i.

No, you cannot get around not using E-Sys Launcher or E-SysX for FDL Coding. Even with a Valid .EST file, you will be missing the CAFD Mapping, and all FDL Data will be trimmed.
