What's the paint code for touch-up paint on our blue calipers... ?

Simply wanted to know if any of you had a paint code and/or BMW part # for the correct color paint to touch any small nicks / scratches on our blue factory calipers... ?

Soon I will be installing the 6-piston OEM Brembo front brakes from the F90 M5, F95 X5 M & G80 M3 (yes they all use the same calipers - believe it or not) & my brand new units have some very minor spots that need to be properly touched up.

THANK YOU in advance... !

The exact paint code seems to be an in house color at Brembo, but the closest BMW match seems to be Monte Carlo blue, paint code B05.

I'll order a touch of this & see how closely it blends. Greatly appreciate the help here!

allinon72 Have you personally tried this paint color code to see how well is closely matches... ?

I have not, that's just what I've read.

This is an old thread (2018), but gives you some photos of the various BMW Blues and how they compare...

That's an awesome find. A dead color match is somewhere between Estoril & Monte Carlo blue.

I feel like the MCB is the closest, and have some on order, replacing my pads & rotors, so just in case
Will report back on the match (or at least a test) once I get done...

Sound excellent & definitely let us know how close of a match this is. I'm assuming we can but this MCB directly from BMW... If so, do you have an official part # for this... ? Just curious!

If I were doing calipers I would get it in an aerosol can. There are companies that do this, you just have to provide the paint code.

I buy all of my TU paint from this source... Have for about 20 years.
They have pens, small bottles, rattle cans, etc...

Just pick the color (B05) and then what type of container/method you want.

Weird, very weird.

Replaced my rotors and pads this weekend and had a couple of places that needed touched up...

The MCB is a PERFECT MATCH on my fronts, but way too dark on the rears, and of course the biggest area that needed a touch-up was on one of the rears.
Maybe Brembo doesn't have very good control over their color recipe, or maybe it's just my X4MC that front and rears are different colors, but kind of bummed about this.

The search continues.

Important to note that the front brakes are made by Brembo but the rears are made by TRW (OEM supplier for a lot of different brands). Also the finish on the rear calipers is much rougher, which can also affect the appearance of the color match.

Was wondering if it wouldn't make sense to have the rougher ones on the rear painted in MCB and the ones in front in Estoril Blue (which is darker) ?
