Want to buy new 2020 X3 and have one question

Apologies in advance if the answer to this is readily available, I've searched and have found references to this but no definitive answer.

I plan to buy a fully loaded X3 xdrive30i for my wife soon and am doing extensive research during these home bound weeks. I understand a few new cars offer wireless Apple Carplay and that the 2020 X3 is one of them, but I can't seem to confirm this. Does the new X3 support WIRELESS Apple Carplay?

Yes, and make sure you get the option wireless package (I believe mine came with Executive Package on MY19). I would double check, but it is def an option and does not come standard.

It's my understanding that the only Car Play option for the X3 is wireless...so if it's listed as a feature, it's wireless.

The only "wireless package" is the wireless phone charging option. That has nothing to do with CarPlay.

"Connected" refers to the BMW Connected suite of functions and again, has nothing to do with CarPlay.

sounds like it but again mine is MY2019 with iDrive 6. The MY2020 has ID7.

6CP is Preparation for Carplay
6C4 is a package that MIGHT contain Carplay. In Sweden I can only see we have 6C1, 6C2 and 6C3. Of which 6C2 and 6C3 include Carplay while 6C1 does not.

My 2020 x3 m40i has iD7 and wireless apple CarPlay ( ie preparation Apple car play)
