Jesus christ dude, whats your problem? You posted on here, seeking, or at least knowing you'd get opinions of others. If you had a bit of sense, you'd know that putting a 24" wheel with a 25(!!!!!!!!!!!!) profile tire on a $60k performance BMW SUV probably wouldn't be received well here. If you gauged this forum (which clearly you haven't), you'd see that people are generally slanted towards stealth mods, performance mods and wheel upgrades that accentuate the sporty look and performance of this car; having owned 4 BMWs, this is the general theme across models while there are always outliers such as yourself. I don't know which 20x9 wheels Suby has, but I guarantee you that 90+ percent of the folks on here would prefer them over your heinous setup. Everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion, but these wheels look absolutely horrendous IMO . Given that you had to heat and bend parts of the suspension to make them fit makes it even more of a head scratching decision. Again, this is a performance SUV, and there is no doubt that you have negatively affected the performance and drivability of your vehicle with this wheel tire combo.

FWIW, I looked up the weight of these wheels, according to the link below, they weigh 47-49lbs without tires...

https://www.fantazymotorsports.com/b...uctid=25170794

If you can't stand folks giving their opinion, why did you even post? Bottom line, it's your car, do as you want to with it, no one can stop you, and if you like it, thats all that matters in the end. But don't post on here acting like you didn't care or want other's opinions. Again, mine is that it looks positively awful

People keep bringing up performance. The vehicle is still fast. 382hp prior to my MHD mod and over 400hp after, it barely even notices the heavier wheels if at all. And none of you have even driven on 24s with a 25 series tire to even know their performance characteristics. Just speaking reckless out things you dont know. I've had the Michelin pilot sport 4s that you nerds drool over. Unjustified price for minimal performance gains. Again people are free to say what they want, but me personally I dont feel the need to negatively comment on any wheel tire setup I've seen on here, even though I dislike 98 percent of them. If i threw 20s on it with some michelins I'd get a pass and fall in line within the norm, so I can enhance "performance" and "stealth mods." I dont ever want to be like the rest of you cookie cutters.

OP, I get the look you're going for. Not my style, but I can appreciate it. It's also not my style to slam other posters as many posters have done to you. And as you've done to many posters.

I've got to tell ya, you're coming across as a pretty young guy with pretty thin skin. Take a deep breath . . . Take a step back . . . Then push back. Disagree with us. Explain how we're all old and stuck in the 1990s and just plain wrong. But dude, do it with a bit of maturity. Otherwise, you're showing yourself as worse than the worst naysayers here.

I agree with you. Not in my nature to slam other people for their individuality/decisions that affect themselves only. I will however freely express my opinion in a matter of fact manner.

However, once he started squabbling with others, for no reason other than to be defensive of his own decisions (to mount the wheels/tires and to post them here), he had it coming. I would much rather a good discussion than back and forth bashing, but had to step in for Suby who got slammed for having 20x9 wheels

Cmon man. This is ridiculous. Maybe it feels as "fast" but performance isn't measured only in how "fast" the vehicle is. It cannot handle nearly as well as any other setup I've ever seen on this car. I don't even know how you can turn lock to lock in that thing. I can't imagine pulling in and out of tight parking spaces; must be a lot of multi point turns. Sure I've never had a 24" setup with a 25 profile tire, but I don't need to experience it to know how uncomfortable that must be.

And to your point about not negatively posting about other setups, a few posts back you indeed did. Out of nowhere you grabbed someone who didn't like your setup, and said, effectively, "my setup is better than your shit setup".

No one said you need to fall in the norm, and no one would ostracize you for your setup alone (they shouldn't at least). Heck, a lot of the reasons people do cosmetic/wheel mods is to stand out from the crowd a bit and make their vehicles their "own". But you of course are going to get opinionated responses.

For the umpteenth time, I don't know why you posted if you didn't want opinions. Now you're getting slammed for being thin skinned and generally being a defensive dick. This is an internet forum, we can all just relaxxxx

Just a friendly advice to everyone.

If someone asks for your opinion, give it to them. But give it as your opinion.
But if someone is not specifically asking for your opinion, then consider that you might reply if you have something positive to say. If you have a negative opinion please refrain from commenting at all.

Have a nice day.

Everybody has different likes and is free to do as they please but I have to say that really ruins the look of the nice vehicle you once had.

Op,

You bought 24 inch REP wheels which aren't 2-3 piece wheels. Real wheels are WORK, BBS, Leon Hardiritt, Vossen/WORK, AG wheels, VOLKs, ENKEI, Advan and HRE. Strange flex on a lease.. but you do you.
