Build update - New Shoes and a few bits

With the weather warming a bit here in the Cincinnati area, and nothing to do but stare aimlessly into my garage it seemed appropriate to get a few things accomplished with my build.

- BC Forged MLE10 with color match lip and satin black centers
- moved stock 265’s to front and put on 295’s In back
- H&R Lowering springs (the ride is so good it’s crazy)
- IND painted replacement reflectors all around
- de-badge back to just the “M” logo.
- added a clean silicone license plate frame in blue.

Car looks cleaner and simpler, and the wheels and lowering give it such a mean tuned look. Loving this X3MC life!

Did you compare the weight of your new wheels?

I didn’t. My stock wheels stayed at the dealership for winter use. That said, I wasn’t nuts about the swap service so I may cancel that and pick them up. I’ll weigh and report back if I do.

Wow love the color combo on the BC's! What specs did you go with?

I didn't realize the H and R lowered it that much. How is the ride compared to stock at each of the three settings.?

The ride is a tad more stiff in the sport settings, but I didn't notice a difference in comfort mode other than significantly more cornering capability. I would not have tracked the car on the stock suspension, but I would feel more than comfortable doing so now.

Thank you for your opinion. So comfort didn't get any softer and sport became even tighter. That doesn't sound like the right setup for me personally as I'll never curvy track the vehicle. I would have gladly saved $500 over the MSS springs if these would have met my needs. If you track yours, please post the vids. I'd love to see a lowered X3 tearing it up!
