So you never encounter a situation where you downshift into second approaching a 90° corner at an intersection, see the road ahead of you is clear exiting the corner, and goose it a little leaving the corner?
Because for me that is a very common situation. |

If I’m goosing it I hold the pedal to the floor. Not 70% causing a high torque low throttle angle situation. I have never experienced anything your talking about literally ever in any of the multiple bmws if owned. Only time I feel bucking is when the plugs are shot and the high boost high tq at low rpm cause spark blow out.

A misfire would definitely be throwing a code and probably a CEL, though. Right?

2) Have felt many a misfire for many different reasons, this is not that. 3) If you felt this you'd agree with #2 4) Why some are feeling it and some aren't i think is the big question? I'm tuned MHD, does it do it on BM3/Stock? 5) It's not a major concern but it is there. When i have some time to blow i'm gonna try and catch it on a log and if i do, i'll post the result.

Having experienced what OP is talking about on several occasions, I boiled it down to pedal input in a very sensitive part of the torque band. Since I’ve been made aware of it, it doesn’t happen anymore.
