Brake light warning?

I have a 2013 X3 with 100k miles. Just got this warning signal today. Do I need to replace immediately or how much further can I drive...? Just trying to gage the urgency of this message...?

You have some time before you need new pads- go take a peek at them and see how much meat remains. I'd guess you can safely go 2,000+ miles.
Easy DIY job if you're so inclined to turn your own wrench.
