Out of the playlist you provided, I would go with AC/DC as you'll be thunderstruck by your new vehicle.

Great playlist! For what its worth came across this from BMW for B&W systems - don't see why it can't apply to HK!
I will be collecting my car in the next couple of weeks and will have a 2hr drive home too - so may borrow some of your playlist! 😀 https://www.bmw.com/en/innovation/be...-speakers.html

I vote start off with the strokes
Throw "human sadness" by ju casa + the voids in there. That should break in your HK system nicely

Thanks!
Is CD copied to the "music collection" HD better than 320 kbps MP3?

Not sure what format BMW rips CDs to the hard drive. I use Windows Media Player to rip CDs in FLAC (lossless) format to a flashdrive, delete the songs I don't want and download from the flash drive (select USB) into the BMW hard drive (music collection.) Or, you can buy lossless songs/albums from HDtracks.com or qobuz.com. They both sell hi-res music in a number of formats. Unless you want for itunes (ALAC format) i'd recommend FLAC format.
