Max defrost

Hello,

Can I ask for some advice, has anyone else had an issue with the max defrost setting, no air blowing onto the windscreen but what sounds like howling noise coming through? All other air conditioning and air distribution settings are absolutely fine. Has anyone experienced this and got a fix for it?

Both stepper motors failed, now fixed by BMW under warranty, anyone else had similar failures?
