Will "STYLE 32" fit on F25?
Is there someone that can provide a photo of the actual installation being successful?

Won't they look tiny? You are losing a full 2" in overall diameter. An X3 already has pretty large gaps around the wheels. I think adding that much more will look funny.

Welcome to the forum...
To be honest, a 2" smaller diameter tire is going to look comical as well as ride like a rock |

It doesn't sound like you have a good understanding on how tire sizes, rim diameters and offsets work

This maybe be of some help, I just mounted niche wheels that look similar. 20x8.5, et35 with 15mm and 20mm spacers (front/back). Tires are 255/45/20, I would go with 255/35/20 on a 9in wide wheel. Here are some images on my x3.

I would suggest to first determine the wheels specs to see if they will fit (without adding the tire sizes yet). Is the wheel’s hub size, offset, and bolt pattern compatible? Once you get it figured out if the WHEEL will fit…then determine what is the correct size tire you need to stay within spec of the rolling diameter you need for that size wheel…as well as the correct width etc to fit the wheel correctly. For example, many 5 & 7 series wheels are compatible on each model (in regard to all of them that have a 72.56mm hub)…but the 7 series uses a larger circumference tire than the 5 series. So, yes…you could mount the 7 series wheels on many 5 series…but you’d have to change/lower the tire size to fit the wheel & tire on a 5. So again, check if the wheel fits your BMW…then determine what is the correct size tire to mount to the wheel. Good luck. In the chart below you can see what the wheel specs are for the various BMWs that has the Style 32 available. If they came off of an e39 5 series…then you’d have an additional issue to contend with…the e39 has a larger 74.1mm wheel hub…so you’d have to use hub centric rings just to get the wheel to fit without creating serious vibration issues…because the X3 has a smaller 72.56mm hub. Then once you got the correct wheel…you’d have to use the correct tire size for whichever size Style 32 you got. You can’t use the tire size from a 3,5,6,7 series on the X3.

Keep in mind Style 32 design also changed. The original design from E39 has more lip and the spokes are flatter, whereas starting with E60 there’s no lip and the spokes are very concave (i.e. sunken in). Either way given how low the offsets are relative to F25 X3 wheels it shouldn’t be an issue. But I run these wheels on my Z4 M and while they clear the stock calipers fine, there was not enough clearance on my Brembos.
If you run the E39 version you’ll need hubcentric rings from 74.1 to 72.6. If you run the E60 version, those will bolt up as fine as they’re also 72.6. Below is my Z with the 18” newer version of the Style 32s. |
