Keep X4 M40i or get new M X4?

What are your thoughts? To keep or not to keep?

It has crossed my mind, but I think it has to be +9mths before some discounts are offered on the XMs to be tempted.

You can never have enough power.

My wife recently got an XC90 plug in hybrid. I had intended to get an M SUV once the G series matured a bit, but honestly after driving the XC90 I'm half waiting for the X5 45e. I'm split down the middle between wanting a high power performance car or an electric drive.

Gotta be high power while you can still get them surely? In a few years there won’t be this choice

In a few years we will have high power electric. Especially for SUVs where handling and weight are less of a concern.

Right now Tesla has the market cornered on sub 4 second consumer electric, but that can't last forever.

The 45e as it is has 400hp combined.

This.

If you have an itch to own an M car and can afford it then pull the trigger. Cars are getting heavier and quieted with each generation.

You only live once.

The XC90 Hybrid I drove was awesome ... 5.2 to 62 ?

Really comfortable and 360o cameras ... great acceleration and fully digital dash.

It was a police demo ... God I hope we get them
