Wow, it's stunning. That's a helluva X4 steal you picked up. The IND crew did a pro job on the pics, that's for sure. Overcast days are the best for car picture taking. I like it very much. You know the old saying: 'Drive it like you stole it'? Well, in your case, you stole it before you drove it. Congrats & enjoy!

Dropped her off @ service. So after 467 miles I realized it wasn't just me.

There is an annoying rattle / vibration at 1800-2200 rpms . It happens at all different speeds / highway city/ sport/ comfort. I told the advice advisor that the car sounded like it had a Honda fart can at ~ 2000 rpm.

There is a thread in the g01 subforum describing the same issue. I will report back once I know how long the replacement parts will take .

The guy let me drive an x1.

In a PM, arciga18 asked if I could edit in 469M (F15) wheels to compare with his current wheels. I found '469' and '468M' wheels, so used the 468M hoping that is what was desired [ https://www.hubcaphaven.com/c/700/bm...eels_rims.html ]. Hard to get the lighting correct when adding a static image into an outdoor photo (I just use free-ware) but hopefully this helps.

I appreciate your time Max Well

I was looking for the 469s but this wheel you picked is very similar so this gives me a good idea.

I think I could do four 10" fronts with 275 tires all around.
I have a source for hub adapters from 5 x 120 to 5 x 112.

This would be more of a spring project anyway since I'm currently working on winter tires.

I thought about slapping new G05 wheels on the x4 but none of the wheels stand out for me.

Car is broken again.

I don't know if it's a me problem but during city drive I can hear the muffled rattling during city driving .

I had a 9 mile drive as part of a funeral procession that made it very obvious .

Wasn't bad during highway driving but it was still there .

Back to service on Thursday

I swapped the wheel out. How hard is to install the actual Carbon fiber/ alcantara trim?

I can remove the steering wheel in like 5 minutes. Done it a few times.

Follow up question,

Which color of paddles matches best with the Alcántara trim.

Very easy if you know how to remove the steering wheel.

I would do Matte Black or Steel Grey on the Paddle.

Yea I looked up some some videos online.

I'm feeling the Matte black for a stealth look.

Sending pm.

"Rob", you mean Ben at r33_RGSport He is a great sponsor. Helps us out, even if we don't end up buying bc some of us are too damn cheap!! And for the record Ben, I'm always torn about modifying my cars bc I end up selling them within the year or two!

As for the steering wheel trim, yes, much better than that OE silver color, and definitely matte black for the paddles
