Does the BMW X3M Competition need an Akrapovic exhaust? HELL YES!

This car is brilliant and sounds amazing with the Akra titanium slip-on!

If you're going to be outside and record audio, at least get a fur windscreen (dead cat) cover for the microphone. It'll cut down on the mic pops...

It is no video to purposely showcase the exhaust. I was at the dealership to meet my friend and check out the new 4 series and had the opportunity to drive the owner's X3M for half an hour. Which also explains the wind noise (did have my camera with me but no deadcat)

See reply above. Did not have my deadcat with me. Mic's battery was almost dead (and eventually died while recording), which explains the poor sound quality. Sorry about that!

Yes I have had mine with their matching midpipes since it was launched. Love it but hard to justify $6500 for a vehicle like this.

I would need to hear this exhaust side by side with a standard exhaust. I don't think it sounded anything special. Not $6500 worth.

Its expensive but if you think about it ... it's made from titanium alloy and most others are made from stainless steel. It is certainly the lightest compare to what other available brands have to offer for your M.

Performance-wise Akra Evo made my m2c faster and more torquey noticeably from the get go.
