Just wondering what you guys use and think is the best way to keep interior clean and looking brand new?

Any experience with 303 aeroprotectant spray?

Just purchased but want to see of people have experience with it prior to me using in my m40i.

cheers

I haven't done a full interior detail yet, but I usually use Simple Green and a damp cloth.

I use either adams interior detailer or chemical guys innerclean. Keeps it looking factory. I hate shiny cleaners that make everything greasy. Both these cleaners have uv protectants in them but do not leave any residue.

My detailer used 303 protectant on our BMW interiors. It worked well for him and we were always happy with the results.

Whatever you use on the leather or vinyl, make sure it doesn't make it shiny!

I often wipe over my steering wheel, seat faces with warm to hot water with a little good quality face soap. If it's good enough for your face it should be okay for leather!

Regularly wiping down leather, removing dirt and keeping it hydrated really helps prolong life and promotes good cosmetic appearance- do that weekly and over time it pays big dividends.

Anyone have good pictures of their results?
I used Meguiar's leather conditioner....once! It made everything greasy looking! Took an hour to correct. Our "Vinether" interiors are definately odd...my M5 was easy compared to this.

The original BMW leather cleaning foam and conditioner have served me extremely well for years. No shiny finish, just stock appearance cleaned up.

I also use 303. It is easy, has UV protectorate built in, and does a great job.

What's a good product to retain the leather smell? Not that my X3 has much of a leather smell anyway. Interestingly it smells very different to my X2 (could be that the latter was made in Germany and had Dakota leather?) The X2 more of a 'leather' smell inside.

I use Nextzett Cockpit Premium for my G01. Prefer this over 303 (which I previously used for years). To top the leather, Zaino's Leather in a Bottle is amazing.

OTOH... on my last car, I hardly ever touched the leather. After 9 years of no conditioning, the leather still looked basically brand new. With the exception of a very slight sheen on the driver's seat, it retained it's factory matte finish. And oyster, no less!

It does help to have been the original owner, and to never have abused it:

Leather Masters (Italian stuff) is quite good- available on Amazon. I use their protection creme regularly, but it really won't add smell, well maybe a very slight amount but negligible.

Very good products but bit pricey. (They make cleaners and other related products)
