Thumbs up X3 SDrive is a Winter Champ!

As most of you know we have experienced some ugly weather in TX last week and I must say the X3 Drive with All Weather tires is amazing in snow, ice, winter conditions. We drove up and down the DFW area during -10F conditions, totally untouched roads, and absolutely no issues.
Extremely well balanced vehicle.

Good to hear. When you say all weather. Is that just an all season tire?

I have nokian hakkapeliitas on mine 19" rims and been terrific.

In Canada so lots of snow recently (we've had 3-4x in the last week where we've gotten at least 4" /15cm dumpings and lots of slush and dirty snow in there.

I've had zero issues with traction from starting/stopping/driving around corners/changing lanes etc. Mind you I don't really floor it from a light But I'm probably driving it a bit faster than most people out there.

Not sure exactly which tire OP references. But All Weather is a different classification, but basically are All Seasons with a greater focus on winter performance. Tires like Michelin CrossClimate2 or Nokian WR G3.

Exactly! All weather have the 3 mountain peak icon on the side wall, just like no shit winter rubber. Current Nokians are WR G4 - great tires for our snotty Montana winters.
