Wanted: lid for drivers side storage box

The lid of the storage compartment on the drivers side keeps opening. Does anyone have a replacement or tip how to fix? The handle is broken.

I'm in Madison, WI (USA)

I have the same problem, however it's on a 2018 G01. The issue isn't auto-closing the door, its that some spring mechanism on the latch is broken so the latch doesn't return to it's closed position, therefore, when the door is manually pushed to close, the latch does not "catch" the slot and keep it closed. So, while the rubber band trick is cool to auto close the door, I believe the real question is how to fix the latch (and at over $150 for the part), a fix would be ideal.
