0-60 X3M Comp. 2.97 Seconds

Unsure if this a world record, but just a tune only E30 fuel mix from BM3. Minimal slip at launch due to having summer conti's on in winter weather lol. But, here's my best so far!

Running E30 BM3 map gives you 30% hp gain. That gives you over 700 hp.

He still has cats,I do like to see Dyno numbers to believe 700HP

Not to mention summer tires at 40deg. weather and get the grip to make it under 3 sec.

Regarding Dyno, here is the bm3 dyno chart. E30 Stage 1, stock cats, gives you 600 whp. With ~20% drivetrain hp loss, this should easily give you over 700 hp. It will probably melt your primary cat, but that’s a completely different question.

I don't get why running E30 on stock down pipes but who cares it's not mine car. Lol

Hope this new engine will hold up, fuel pump should be ok I guess using E30

Now we know what G80 guys will do with 600lbs less weight

Yes, G80 will be very interesting. I still think BMW will either nerf the S58 for G80 or will have to make them unexpectedly heavy. There is just no way they will run with the same power and 600 lbs lighter.

I hope not, so far has been mentioned that AWD competition should be the same HP and I do hope they stay just under 4000lbs

but this would make them faster than current M5 and M8. this wouldn’t make much sense for BMW.

21’s? Sunroof?

Nice time and that DA really helps I’m sure! But also maybe not as these car’s cooling systems are insane.

It'll be fine. BMW will rate it at 3.4-3.5 sec 0-60, and it'll actually run 3.1-3.2. The heirarchy will be preserved.

Stock X3 MC runs 3.3. Remove 600 lbs and improve the drag coefficient and stock G80 will easily run under 3. That would be awesome, but I don’t know if BMW will play this game the way we want them to. I think they will solve this dilemma by adding weight in form of additional strut bars etc. to stiffen up the chassis and improve the handling. They did the same thing with X3 M that is almost 400 lbs heavier than its M40i sibling. If we look at the curb weight of M340i, it’s almost 4000 lbs. Add 200-300 lbs weight and we have the G80 at 4200-4300 lbs.
